Hyundai Truck & Bus (China) Co., Ltd. (Hereinafter Referred to as Hyundai Truck & Bus China) is the overseas commercial vehicle production and sales base of Hyundai Motor.

Our production base is built according to the standards of Hyundai Motor and covered an area of 1.52 million square meters. The base has a vehicle test center, a component test center and test field, and redefines the benchmark of new generation commercial vehicle plant based on the advanced automatic and intelligent facilities and the global production management system.

The production base has frame workshop, body workshop, painting workshop, final assembly workshop and engine workshop at present. The base is located in Ziyang, Sichuan Province with an annual production capacity of 160,000 heavy-duty, medium-duty, and light-duty trucks and 20,000 heavy-duty engines.

The advanced technical reserves and international excellent products of Hyundai Motor Group have been verified in the global market and highly recognized by customers. Its products have been exported to a total of 35 countries since 2016, including Myanmar, Vietnam, Chile, Thailand, Laos, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, etc.

The R&D center has facilities for vehicle performance test, suspension K&C test, road simulation test, component environmental resistance test and engine performance test.

On October 29, 2019, Hyundai Truck & Bus and China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd. jointly set up Joint test center for CAERI & Hyundai Truck & Bus China to better guarantee the quality of products.

In June 2014, XCIENT heavy-duty truck was launched, and won the high recognition of the China market by dint of fashionable and magnificent appearance and efficient and reliable performance.

In September 2017, the smart logistics light truck, MIGHTY, was launched in response to the demands of the middle and high-end logistics markets with customized power, passenger car style interior design and smart performance leading the industry.

In January 2018, XCIENT 520 PS high-power model was officially launched. Its strong power performance fully demonstrates the economic, efficient, fuel saving and environmental protection performances of the third generation POWERTEC high-powered engine.

In February 2019, XCIENT 4X2 Tractor was officially put into the market. With the advantages of low saddle, long wheelbase, and large fuel tank, the new model quickly seized the market and became the focus.

In September 2019, Hyundai Truck & Bus China launched new light duty truck series met the diverse market demands of cabin size.

In 2020, Hyundai Truck & Bus China successively launched new emission standard model line-up.
